SYDNEY ERICKSON
Starting therapy can feel intimidating. I am dedicated to providing a safe and collaborative space to help you improve your life satisfaction and relationships by developing new methods and skills to foster healthier connections and reducing distress.
I aid adults, children, and adolescents in overcoming anxiety, perfectionism, and people-pleasing tendencies. Additionally, I support couples and families, guiding them through communication hurdles, relationship strain, and parenting difficulties.
My commitment to this work comes from both professional training and personal experience. I’ve seen the impact that proper care and gaining a sense of control, balance, and confidence can have on individuals.
I draw from Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Experiential and Narrative models, and psychoeducation. These methods allow me to offer concrete tools while also addressing the deeper patterns that keep people stuck.
Outside of work, I often enjoy hiking, reading, cooking, or spending time with friends and family.
