Not all therapists are a good fit for every patient.  Feeling like your therapist is not a good fit will impact the likelihood of reaching your goals in therapy. If you find that your therapist is not a good fit, please let us know and we will connect you with a clinician that meets your needs.

Welcome to Restoration Psychological Services!

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with over a decade of clinical experience, I absolutely love what I do - and I think it shows.  It is an honor that individuals and couples, and sometimes entire families, choose to let me into their lives and allow me to walk along beside them through the hurt and pain, as well as the joy, fulfillment, and empowerment  within the therapeutic process.

I incorporate the latest research-proven approaches, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), Interpersonal Neurobiology & Attachment Theory, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Experiential Therapy.  As a spouse of a retired American soldier, I am deeply passionate and specialized in serving those who sacrifice so much - first responders, military, and their family members.

I have been highly trained in addressing acute issues related to relationships, including couples and individuals who have extensive relationship and attachment issues, infidelity and trust concerns, boundary issues, and communication/conflict resolutions issues.

Other areas of specialty include trauma (i.e., childhood, relationship, workplace, public safety traumas), anxiety and distress, issues with work-life balance and perfectionism.

I am an active member of the AAMFT (American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists), and continue to display commitment to life long learning, attending many professional development workshops and completing additional certifications in the field of psychology, neurobiology and trauma, attachment, and couples therapy and psychology.  Additionally, I am an Approved Supervisor with AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners and teach Masters-level Marriage and Family Therapists at Arizona Christian University.

I am dedicated to supporting patients within their journeys of change, as well as leaving the field of psychotherapy more hopeful and joy-filled than I entered it. That is my intention with the growth of Restoration Psychological Services - to facilitate excellent therapy and participate in the development and training of excellent Marriage and Family Therapists.

I believe there is something so special about our individual stories and experiences, and my goal is to create a space that feels safe for you to be seen and heard while sharing your unique story. Whatever chapter of life you are in, I want to meet you where you are at and walk alongside you through this journey. I cannot wait to meet you and help you work towards becoming the best version of yourself.

I recently graduated in the Spring of 2023 from Fuller Theological Seminary with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am passionate about helping individuals process past trauma, relational issues, and current life stressors through psychoeducation, Experiential Therapy, and interactive techniques to provide tangible resources and coping strategies. As an intern, I receive supervision under Dr. Rachel White and provide services to individuals and couples for a reduced fee.

Clinical Focuses

  • Families with Struggling Children

  • Affair Recovery

  • Blended Families

I have worked in the mental health field for over 10 years and I have worked with a variety of populations. I believe all people struggle at some point in their lives and seeking therapy is beyond courageous. In the last few years I have made the choice to go back to school to help families and individuals work through these challenges that life can give us. I am eager to get to know people and find out more about them and allow individuals and families to take the lead in their own therapy because you are the expert in your life experiences.

I was born and raised in Arizona and grew up on the Fort Apache Indian reservation. I am the mother and a wife and an Arizona Cardinals fan! I am very fond of Dr. Seuss and my favorite Dr. Seuss quote is  "Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory".
