About Anita
I am a licensed master social worker, with over 8 years of clinical experience, who specializes in working with youth, teens, and adults with a focus on attachment issues and trauma. I have worked with clients and their families who have experienced a range of complex traumas, grief and loss, and those with developmental disabilities.

Additionally, I am skilled at working with individuals struggling with relationship problems, self-esteem, identity, grief, stages of life, depression, and suicidal ideation. I believe in helping my clients become more self-aware of their mind and body connections and inner child work. I have guided individuals and families to learning how to heal themselves, play, discover, accept, and forgive.

I have been trained and certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, attended the Harris Institiute for 2 years obtaining Infant Mental Health Certification and began learning about Neurobiology, Circle of Security Certified Trainer, and have implemented modalities/interventions skills such as, ACT, DBT, SFBT, IPT, Mindfulness, and experience in developmental assessments, Child Parent Psychoeducation, and sand tray and play therapy skills. I receive ongoing clinical supervision under Dr. Rachel White, complete continuing education, practice the Code of Social Work Ethics, and following requirements for licensure renewal every two years.
